WARDED TO THE DA
Terry and I are organizing a list for the DA so we can better utilize everyone's strengths. So if you could just let us know what your best subjects are, that would be a great help. I mentioned charming notes to spell out a different message whenever someone reads them, so if you're particularly good at Charms or Transfiguration we could use your help.
I should probably be spending less time working on lists, and more time trying to find a way around these quotas because I know I'm falling severely behind on that. END WARDS

Whoever defaced the bathroom stall on the fourth floor, very funny, but vandalism is against school rules and if you are discovered you will be given a detention for it.
By the way, that was sarcasm. It wasn't funny at all. In fact it was really crude, Professor Carrow looks nothing like that.

I should probably invest in some thicker socks. It's so cold in this dorm, I can barely feel my toes. Is it spring yet? I wish the weather was warmer now. I think I'll just hibernate until then.

I think I might have made a mistake, I don't know. I might have agreed to tutor Hannah in Potions, but I don't know if I can do it now. I mean sure, talking to her on the journals is one thing, but I can barely get more than a sentence out when I see her in person that doesn't have anything to do with the weather. Why did I possible think I could tutor her? I should just tell Megan I can't do it. Call the whole thing off.

This might sound strange coming from me, but I kind of hope this weekend never ends. I don’t want to see the start of next week. Do you remember that prefect meeting I had on Thursday? Well the Carrows are giving us a quota to fill now. I guess to make sure we’re doing our part? We have to give out a certain number of detentions by the end of each week. And the best part is, you know people are saying they’re using that quill that writes lines on the back of your hand. I was being sarcastic. There's nothing good about this.
They said we could lose our badge if we don’t meet the requirements. What am I going to do? I don’t give out a ton of detentions to begin with, how am I going to fill this quota? I don’t even think I want to fill this quota. I don’t want to be the one responsible for putting people through that if they are using that quill. Do you think they are? After what they did to Evelyn, I wouldn’t be surprised. It kind of seems like nothing next to that.
